Yeh but how realistic is that. Unless they move teams.

I dunno, the formbook has shaken up, For all we know, we could be entering the Brawn/Red Bull/Toyota/Williams decade, replacing the old McLaren/Ferrari/Williams/Renault decade.

Williams decade? That's been a while - not recently at any rate :P

I would like to see Button win this year, because he is simply a great guy, a great racer and has put up with being at the back of the grid for the last two seasons while he watched his fellow country man and total newcomer do very well.

He never really bitched that much, and if I call correctly was laughed at when he said in an interview with ITV in 2008 that his time will come. People thought he had missed his chance to be champion, that he didn't really have what it took to be a champion. Now look at him, man Button is in charge at the min. I reckon he will take about 7 - 8 wins this season, even more maybe and be crowned champion.

I agree with you, JB's dedication is paying off and is rightly deserved.

No no, I meant that back in like 2002/3 era, Williams were fighting at the front.

I agree entirely. Furthermore, if you believe in numbers, any driver / constructor that won 3 0f the first 4 races went on to win the WDC and constructors championship. And this year the WDC will be decided by the driver with most wins not the most points.

they did a back flip on that rule so it is the most points still.

I stand corrected.

Does anyone on this thread wish to revise their opinion post-qualifying?

Highly doubtful they would.

its a tough choice..

for one, i really want Vettel to win this WDC...as the youngest champion (correct me if i am wrong)
but on the other, Button is just amazing....

too bad we can't have two champions

Well Lewis to win would be best but thats looking increasingly remote.I'd like to see Webber win it. Will probably be Button though. Dont want it to be vettel cos dont want him to take Lewis's title, also think he needs to get a bit more aggresive :shuffleoff: Massa would be cool after being so close last year but that also looks an extremely long shot.
