Bernie is bittersweet. He engineered F1 into what it is today but his governance and demands in recent years have been crazy. We still don't know what will happen if he dies. Who will run FOM and organise the calendar and spoil fans enjoyment of F1 moments by removing all videos from youtube? None of this has been decided because apparently Bernie thinks he is going to live forever.

I hate the Summer Olympics, so no.

Winter Olympics are much more interesting.

I have to say though, I find all this crap from Bernie demanding handouts from the Government to save the race a little rich, given the fact that we're trying firstly to get out of a financial crisis and secondly to continue our ongoing fight against Poverty. The Grand Prix is good for the economy, but not good enough that if the Government does step in, they won't be hammered for it (And, to be honest, to make a huge difference, they'd have to spend more than even *I* approve of).

Mind you, the Red Tops and David "Dave Boy, Don't Call me Dave" Cameron (AKA Wolf in Sheep's Clothing) and his clone Nick "Don't call me Dave Boy" Clegg will hammer the Goverment for it if they do it or if they don't.
