I predict that the team order won't be too different.

This race will decide a lot of matters;

1. Are Brawn going to surge further ahead?
2. Will McLaren and Ferrari get back to the front by throwing money and parts at everything? (I hope not!)
3. Will BMW and Williams make a comeback?
4. Is Alonso going to try and grab pole on fumes again just to please the crowd?
5. Will the race be any good? The new regs certainly didn't work today but they did in Melbourne and Malaysia.
6. Where is everybody?
7. Where's Waldo?

I predict that McLaren will be there. Though perhaps in some sort of zombie competitor mode.

seems most likely they will be but in minus constructor points. numbers 22-23 again next year? or if theres 2 new teams the famous 27 and 28 of Ferrari

as for the pecking order this race will be interesting to see the big upgrades all the teams will bring so who knows.

Hamilton would choose number 27 just because his hero Senna used it when McLaren had 27 and 28 in 1990, and not because of Gilles who made the number so magical in the first place.

Since I'm predicting things all over the place, I'll predict that any punishment of McLaren will not be that harsh. But perhaps they'll lose points for a few races. Or LH may be banned for a few races. Given it's Spain next, if LH was suspended for a couple of races and PdlR took his place, that might please the Spanish crowd.

Since LH is possibly the sole member of the McLaren organisation directly involved in the lying, it would be unfair if he was kept in the drivers' championship, but McLaren themselves were booted out of the Constructors' championship.

Yes. I said it would be unfair if the team was punished more than the driver. But of course that doesn't mean that it won't happen.

I think the main cars of interest are Ferrari and BMW. McLaren and Renault got their updates quite early, so now it's time to see what these two teams can do with some tweaks. Ferrari mainly. I think they've got the full blown DD diffuser so how close can they get to the front. Considering that the interim diffuser moved McLaren from Q2 to just behind the top 3, it'll certainly be interesting.

As for the win. I'm predicting another boring win for Button Give someone else a go mate. Then again, my predictions seem to be jynx's so maybe not.

I reckon, with updates, Brawn could be ahead here. Remember their testing advantage? They were further ahead of the field at Barcelona than they were at Jerez, so it would be interesting to see if their aerodynamic package still retained some kind of advantage. Of course, temperatures will also be important as the Brawn seems to be fairly easy on its tyres.

I very much doubt it will be enough but I expect McLaren to make the biggest gains I think Renault will progress well also. BMW are the ones I'm most concerned about they started off by being ok but Kubica had no KERS then they have slowly got worst they said they had a new lighter chassis for Spain yet today they only mentioned having new aero for Spain.

Should be a new, light-weight chassis and double-decker diffuser in Spain. Hopefully that will help to improve the situation. But I don't get what the actual problem is
