Driving too close to a bus ins't a good idea. They tend to stop without warning.

A very good bus driver happened to be driving that bus. It's an embarrassing situation to be in, not only to be beaten by a bus driver, but to complain that if the circuit was different he would have been able to get past seems rather well, I posted the video elsewhere.

there, there. I'm sorry you feel that way. It's that sometimes you confound any discussion by refusing to acknowledge facts, all the while steadfastly holding on to your opinion. Which would be fine, in itself, but it's widely accepted that an opinion is something that you accept as yours and yours alone... you have a tendency to try and pass your opinions off as facts everyone should clearly see. Hence the dilemma.

@DD, the stewards must have missed that blatant offense that prevented Vettel from getting by and handily winning the race.

If even Vettel didn't find time to whine about it, it means Lewis' defensive moves were totally legit.

I didn't call it a blatant offense, but yeah, they didn't intervene like they sometimes used to in the past by at least calling the team to tell their driver to stop it. But it was only once or twice, so not 'that bad' - at any rate, it did what it was intended for.

I think we can safely say that Seb only looked to be on terms with the Mercs, pace wise, in the early laps. After that, the RBR just didn't seem fast enough.

I think we can safely say that Seb only looked to be on terms with the Mercs, pace wise, in the early laps. After that, the RBR just didn't seem fast enough.

No, you can't safely say that. One big concern is overheating when following too closely, so they backed off and managed the tires, basically playing the same game as Mercedes and hoping to jump them during the pit stops.
Plus, later on they looked at the overall situation with FA and KR and realized that there's no point in risking much trying to overtake NR in Monaco when SV and RB are getting way more points than their direct competition.

Wasn't a wincy bit, plus it's Monaco, so any double move is immensely effective in those narrow streets.

Well I didn't see him do anything bad and I was watching closely. Nor did the powers that be, nor did the commentators. If he did, count it as part pay back for the times he's been done unfairly.

Well I didn't see him do anything bad and I was watching closely. Nor did the powers that be, nor did the commentators. If he did, count it as part pay back for the times he's been done unfairly.
