No, only sharing my opinion that a "God" oughta have more than one championship!

Is that the opinion of a No.2 driver? :P

I'd have thought that a

God of the racetrack

would have more than one world championship :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Mate, are you deliberately trying to turn this thread sour?

Unfortunately FRAFPDD, I can see some positives and some negatives in creating a thread like this. However, would we like to see an "Official Lewis Hamilton Hate Thread" pop up as well? Is that the idea behind a forum, to have a thread only for one-sided opinions? Personally I want to do the same thing for Vettel, and I did want the same thing when I was a passionate Hamilton fan. But I didn't think it would be a correct thing, because it just would go to show that I couldn't stand any negative criticism of Vettel. When I wanted that, I joined an official forum for discussing one-sided opinions of Vettel. But I came back here because I realized it's the discussion and varying viewpoints that make a forum a real forum.

On the other hand, the idea behind this thread is a good one, because it should be a thread free of banter as it's a one-way street. To make it work, other forumners with negative opinions are urged not to post there and if they do, should receive some disciplinary action.

I will say that I used to be a very big fan of Hamilton's, and I still am in some ways. :wavey:

However, I am dying to say something in response to the video posted of Hamilton catching Vettel. I'm going to burst if I don't say it! :irked:

Youll have to ask the mods on the hate thread but i honestly wouldnt mind it, as long as most of the hating is in that thread then id personally have no reason to comment on it.

Bottom line here is i dont even want this debate on it, or how it could be mucked up by some people. I just want the thread for Lewis fans to share our fetish for Lewis Hamilton. Id rather non-fans just kept away from the thread which so far has worked, but then AGAIN i ask the mods if they can politely ask users to remove themselves from posting if theyve got nothing to big up Lewis Hamilton with. Im aware you might have been a Hamilton fan but i should warn you it doesnt give you the right to downtalk him in here, not that you have at all. This thread should not mention any other drivers then Hamilton unless talking about videos fo him overtaking them etc. Id enjoy seeing a Vettel one and and Alonso one too, i mean they arent going to hog the main page, they just get bumped every so often with stuff.

Fair enough, to have one thread that only supports Mr Hamilton and excludes any dissenting opinions.

So in the interests of fair play and equal treatment, is it OK to create a thread named "Why has Hamilton not lived up to expectations?", and bar anyone with a dissenting opinion?

And will the mods honor that thread as they honor this one?

I wouldnt care less if it was intentionally made just to spite this one, hand on heart honest truth, even better make one haters only, and ask the mods to remove anyone that bigs up Hamilton, seriously, go for it.

There is no rationing of threads from what i can see and i dont see what the problem would be in making a fair few of this dedicated (or undedicated like you say lol) threads for drivers, as long as it remains only one. This is the only thread we've got out of an archive past future or present that will solely be for bigging up Hamilton. Id like it to remain that way.

As long as we have that kept true to word and honoured by those with the green-named power (or purple) then im happy. The only case in which ill be unhappy is if the mods unfairly moderate a hate thread in favour of a love thread OR vice versa or if they show plain bias in doing so, cause that just plain isnt fair.

Or if course if the mods see what ive asked of them, and although theyre mods im pretty sure its in their duty to maintain the interests of the forumners to the best of their capability, and choose not to listen to the simple request i ask them then id be annoyed by that. Luckily enough one mod is a known Lewis fan and we only need one to keep it Lewis Hate free.

Fair enough, it's never my agenda to rain on anyone's parade, or to trash anyone just for the sadistic pleasure of it all. And I certainly don't want to be part of any exercise devoted solely towards raining crap upon Mr Hamilton. It's just that it would be nice to have a thread where some individuals may practice free speech by discussing both the pros and cons of Mr Hamilton, not just buttering up one side.

If it's recognized that it's fair play to have a protected zone where fans of Mr Hamilton may gather and marinate in the joys of his skills, without any rude and vulgar interruption, then it should also be fair where fans may have the opportunity to discuss the same gentleman, without having to be forced to only acknowledge only one facet of Mr Hamilton.

Oh, and by the way, I have this cool free Android app named "Vodafone McLaren Mercedes 2011"

Those of you with big memories will remember a thread i strated specifically as a playground for the lewis 'dislikers'...there wasnt that a nice polite word :D It was called the lewis dissenters thread..can I find it in the search option??? No. Anyone please?? It got locked eventually due to too much success :hehe::hehe: Anyway see if you can find it, and i'll keep looking. If you think he's 'disliked' now, you should have been around when he first hit F1. That was fun :hehe::hehe:

Sorry for being a dummy here, but how do you embed a youtube video? I tried earlier by pasting the url and using the youtube tag, but nothing appeared.

See the youtube box as your posting, copy the code after V= and paste it inbetween the youtube brackets, dont include the whole URL, just the code after V= and put it inbetween the two youtube brackets.

Lewis frustrated at being too good compared to rivals.

Im a Hamilton fan...but half way through that interview i was like 'oh nooo shuddup...dont say it...do not say it' but he carried on going :hehe:

But i actually liked seeing him being honest and showing everyone how he felt at the time...some racing drivers (not gonna name any) are like robots and do not show any emotion what so ever when having an interview

Wasnt saying it to you RC but the topic was starting to wander from page 2.

I dont care how frustrating it is for Hamilton, its frustrating for us fans.

The world seems against him, and sometimes its not even "seems" sometimes, The stewards seem to really hate him, so does everyone in Spain, Italy and Brazil lol.

And the FIA and race stewards seem like total retards in regards to Lewis.

You find the people that are actually respected and legendary like Sennas family, Frank Williams, Norbert Haug, Lauda (said and i quote "hes the best driver"), Bernie Eccelstone ( " let him race").

Im just hoping dominance ends soon, as soon as it does i know, not think, or reckon, i know Lewis will be taking the WDC's. We all just gotta sit tight.
