I think sometime last year we made our version of the FIA with our own rules for a laugh one night and I think we decided their should be a race in Antarctica anyway it looks like Renault have been working on the concept!
The climax of the Roadshow on Sunday saw Nelson Piquet demonstrate the R28 at Ski Dubai, an indoor ski slope. Fitted with specially-adapted Bridgestone studded snow tyres, Piquet completed a series of donuts in the snow at the bottom of the slope. It took the Bridgestone engineers 16 hours to manually insert all 2,016 studs, but the end result was well worth the effort.

Yes, that happened. We did do that.

Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen or Barber Motorsports Park http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barber_Motorsports_Park would be my choices. I have heard from people who have raced at BMP that it is a top notch course.

But it's right in the NASCAR heartland, no? :P

Would Montoya be tempted to visit the F1 paddock? Not without walking into a few cameras first... :hehe:

Does not matter to me because I'm a racer and do not dislike any series I just like racing of any kind :) .

Even though I think Laguna Seca is a awsome track it is entierly too short in its current form. The laps there will be nearly a minute or less in a modern F1 car. So in its present form it cannot be a f1 circuit.

I agree, the new generation F1 cars would be running close to one minute around the track. If Bourdais did a 1:05 in a DP01, just imagine what a new F1 car will do.

Atleast Laguna is a true roadcourse that is why I like it. Yet if it does not meet the criteria for F1 there must be other solutions right?
