That 6 wheeler was the most bizzare, especially with the vaccum cleaner as a front wing. (Were they struggling for grip?)

All those little article above were interesting ( '76 was a aero nightmare) , good find!

I never liked that six wheeled Tyrrell. This car came first to my mind after reading a thread name.

6wheeler was pretty weird/interesting. from what i read it was to help with more front cornering

from wiki: "In fact, the six-wheel design reduced the lift caused by two larger front wheels, improving frontal downforce, increased the total contact patch of the front tyres and created a greater swept area for the brake discs"
