Jos the Boss

Postby Irv the Swerve »

I've followed Jos Verstappen (and of course MSC :) ) and he was a great driver to watch. I think he derseved better in F1 and this piece of news that i found is the worst of all:

Verstappen was offered a test contract that same year at Ferrari but turned that offer down because he respected his contract with Arrows.

Arrows went bust that year and lost the offer with Ferrari...so unlucky :(

Maybe a seat with STR since they still haven't confirmed their drivers yet. :)

I liked Jos the Boss, he was very luck to walk away unscathed on his debut at Brazil in '94 after his big smash up with Irvine, Bernard and Brundell.

And then later in the year surviving that massive fire at Hockenheim!
