That's a slightly longer video with Murray Walker doing commentary.

It's certainly the best Formula One dual I've seen, and I've seen a few good ones, such as the 1992 Monaco Grand Prix.

Certainly one of the best on track battles ever televised.
Pity footage doesn't exist of the many amazing ones that happened in the 50s/60s.
I'm sure we'll have read about many of them, but what bout the ones that weren't written as closely on.

A combination of a great battle and Murray Walker commentating makes this a true classic. :)

shumaker vs. hill :banghead:

Good but not the best and this is coming from a MS fan who witnessed him from his first F1 race until his last F1 race. Some of the best battle's, in my era, were between Prost, Senna, Mansell and Piquet with a few other's thrown in before their car and strategy went to crap.

Well yea that is one of the most famous battles in F1 history. These past few races haven't been too bad either.

Alot of time's one's expectation's are set too high regarding past battle's, not that there is anything wrong with that, but thing's change as does life.
So set your recorder's and in 20yr's we can debate this subject once again!!

Some of my favourites off the top of my head that haven't been mentioned already...

Hill and Schumacher at Belgium '95.
Alonso, Raikkonen and Schumacher at Suzuka, 2005. Well, i say battle but they were the three top men that year, romping forward from the back together! And then the move at 130R....
Mansell and Senna down the main straight in Barcelona, 1991. One of my favourite shots in F1 history.
Coulthard keeping the Ferrari's at bay in Monaco '02, despite his engine smoking for half the race.
Alonso resolutely defending his lead against Schumacher, San Marino ('05?), and then their battle at Turkey a year later was pretty good too.
Hill battling Schu on aggregate times at Suzuka in '94 in horrendous conditions.

I Don't think this is the best battle in history but it's the best battle I have seen; Alonso V Schumacher
Commentary is in Spainsh....I think, i remember watching this and i was in awe.

That was decent. Those who "watched" it on ITV would remember them going for a break right in the middle of it. :censored:
