Just switched over. Like the overall effect!!
The contrast of the buttons and the smileys
is quite effective.

I would suggest that the header section should be black while the page background should be the slate grey, it looks a little odd to my eye with the lighter color being at the top. Also the topic rollover effect is a little extreme, I would like to see the rollover effect much more subtle. The folder icons are little too contrasting for my liking, could we make the circle black with a #666 folder?

Am I overstepping here, what do others think... guess once a designer, always a designer... I can't just switch off!

I agree with all points except the slate grey for page background - it's fine as it is.

The darker theme has been tweaked. You may have to refresh to see the changes (on my PC, running Chrome, I had to hit ctrl and F5 together).

Small update, I've now given people the power to include social network links in their profiles. As an example, if you click on the image by my name on this post (mini profile will appear) or my name (showing my full details) you'll see the link to Twitter.

Now, next update, does anyone want Like/Dislike on all posts?
