I have a problem with not spending more time on teaching the basics/mechanics in Math.
I can't believe that most children in elementary school still use their fingers to add/subtract! :banghead:

You realize you're the teacher there? :P
Breaking News: Lewis Hamilton has officially overtaken The Fonz in race wins. With 88 races less. Lol (Without a specially built blown diffuser, illegal front wing, preferential treatment)

I know 30 year old that still do.

I always remember in school we had a little see saw with numbered pegs on it. You has to balance them out on the other side by getting the right answer.

Not sure what your education system is like; but, we don't have the same group of children every year, as they do in some European countries.
Also, we don't have any control over the curriculum, as that's mandated by the province.

Not to worry, though, as I "find" time to teach what I believe in!

Edited: was thinking provincial government, ended up with provincial province!! :banghead:

Everyone learns differently, so it's up to us to find what works for each child.

Well. Ferrari fans have to come from somewhere. Get them while they are young.
