Yeah well, third is two short of what matters the most.

Indeed, he is the best at being third. A title I am sure he has little interest in!

:hehe:

Being first in third place finishes, hardly a stat he would like to highlight, I've been third best more times than anyone else!

Raikkonen is in a bit of a dispute over his new backyard project - a motocross track. Looks like an awesome track but noise is an issue for some of the neighbours! They are complaining to see if an environmental permit was needed. I would think that as many trees would be cut to just build a house on that site.

I wonder it the neighbours got a permit to fly that drone over Raikkonen's property!

Neighbours? I didn't see any other houses in the area!
Besides, trees that were cut notwithstanding, how is that
track impacting the environment? Other than drainage for
any runoff rain water, there doesn't seem to be any sewage
that would need be disposed of!

Here is a report that the Finnish court rejected the neighbour's complaints and that his motocross track does not violate any laws.

As pointed out in the comments Kimi now has a judge's court decision that he should be left alone and that he knows what he is doing!

The Finnish government has never before appointed anyone as an Ambassador for Sport, but it did so at a Sport Gala, held in Helsinki on Tuesday 17 January. The recipient was none other than Kimi Raikkonen, who received the honour from Prime Minister Juha Sipila. Kimi’s presence at the gala had been kept secret right up until the last moment. “I’m not that used to making formal speeches,” said Raikkonen. “But I would like to wish all the best to the winners in every category, as well as those who missed out on the prizes this year. I would stress how important it has been in my case to have the support of my family and help from trustworthy colleagues and the people within the Ferrari Team, with whom I have worked for so many years now.”
In 2017, Finland celebrates the centenary of its independence.
