Post by burneyk »

Ok so is there any other people going solo???

If anyone else is going solo for any reason then is there any sort of meet up planned?

Also is there anyone going from the Nottinghamshire or West Yorkshire area?

Also one last thing iem in the 2nd row at farm, anyone got any views on this as to if it will be a decent view?

Thanks guys

I am thinking about going to the race. But maybe just the Sunday.

I am from Australia but will be in Europe for a conference that starts 3 days after the race, so I thought "why not go to the Grand Prix?"
Any recommendations on where to stay? It all looks quite expensive and the track is really hard to get to if you don't have a car.

I was in Melbourne for the race last week and getting around, and to the track was a breeze. Plus, my 4 day grandstand ticket (decent seats on the straight, less than 10 metres after the start/finish line) cost AU$430. A grandstand seat for just Sunday at Silverstone is about 200+ pounds. That's more than AU$400! :yikes: That's insane. But then, I may not get another chance to go....
