If you own a gun, chances are you shoot with it, if you own a car chances are you drive with it, if you have a pack of cigarettes chances are you smoke. Ferrari have veto power.

Let's just stop, I mean it's crazy. If you want to bury your head in the sand, I guess it's your right to do so. It does go a long way towards explaining why you and Sagi keep picking a Ferrari 1-2 in the pool though. I guess I'll never get it, I guess that's why I lack the "passion" to be a tifosi. Horses for courses.

Of course you don't get it!! You seem to think that "winning" is the be all and end all of success!!
Ferrari fans stick with them through thick and thin, just like a family. And, just like in most families
there is dissention, there are arguments, there is anger, etc; but, family is family and blood is thicker
than water, so loyalty wins out in the end.

Speaking of "not getting it": What I find fascinating is that, as competitive as you seem to be and as much
as you seem to value winning, when it comes to Schumi and his success at Ferrari, in the form of statistics,
titles, etc., there always seems to be a ""valid"" reason as to why he shouldn't be seen as "the" measuring
stick for driver success in F1!

You're confused indeed. Me commenting on Shumaker being or not being the yardstick for greatness? Yes confused indeed.
On the topic of "winning" Ferrari are the trubadores of winning is the only thing. It's late on Friday and I'm sure you've been drinking. You're forgiven. :headpat:

Sigh... let me try again: You don't get why I continue to choose Alonso/Kimi as
my 1-2 picks for the fantasy league. That's because I don't base my decisions on
statistics, I base them on my loyalty to Ferrari. You said you "don't get that"!
Well, I chimed in with my own "I don't get it" when it comes to Schumi. Also,
that comment was a "general" comment, not directly aimed at you!

Oh, the day of the week and the amount I do/don't drink don't change that!! :hehe:

Well, I wouldn't associate loyalty to a team, wit a "fantasy" league. Picking someone else to win in a fantasy environment doesn't mean you're being disloyal. In my point of view there is a difference, and I guess I'm able to differentiate between the two ad I was very comfortable choosing Vettel to win races that I knew McLaren or Mercedes had no hope to win.

I think that as much as the tifosi dislike being painted with a wide brush, you sure do a swell job painting everyone else with an even wider one. Veto or no veto, scratch that, since we know there's a veto. Even with it, Ferrari with all their might and know how and self proclaimed royalty amongst F1 team, have been struggling since 2008. No shame in that, so have a lot of other teams.

But without a veto and without an exalted history in the sport, Red Bull and Ross Brawn have been seemingly doing pretty well. What the missing piece for the scuderia is, I don't know. But at least they have that veto power.

It's the last I post on the subject until the contract is leaked and we have the details Spanky is clamoring for. I realize that there's no point in combating the passion that only Ferrari fans seem to have, with logic.

No she wouldn't', RC would have hated when team orders and vetos of engine regulations etc were used by the team instead of on track performance, innovative technology and letting their drivers race like in Germany 201. I do respect the fact that you recognize that other fans can be passionate and it's not exclusive to the tifosi.

Those attributes of RC (are you blushing yet with all these compliments RC? :) ) would make make her a great Tifosa

Don't confuse passion and loyalty with blindly following. They are not mutually exclusive IMO. There have been plenty of times where I have disagreed with Ferrari but I've never considered myself not a fan.
