After MONTHS of waiting, Waiting WAITING for the 2007 season to start, reading all the rubbish about winter testing we have to wait ANOTHER three weeks for the second race.

WTF is Bernie playing at? Does he not realise that F1 is already losing its audience?

That just proves they weren't real F1 fans, just Herr Butthead fans. Now they can have him all to themselves. Bernie doesn't need them.

Germany still has drivers in F1, there's still Ralf, Nick Heidfeld and the BMW team, Adrian Sutil and even Nico Rosberg races under the German flag as his mother was German - but has said one day he wants to represent Finland like his father Keke.

Before Schumacher, all Germany had were pretty unsuccessful drives like the Winkelhocks, and lanky Christian Danner.

In Germany it (F1 popularity) is (on the decline)...

You cannot blame Bernie for that. He bent over backwards to help The beloved Schumacher bend the rules. It was enevitable that F1 would lose popularity in Germany when Schumacher retired, just as it did in Britain when Hill retired, in France when Prost retired and in Brazil when Senna died. Spain have got more viewers than ever and Poland I expect are increasing too.

At least if the Germans are getting bored of F1 there will be more room at the hotel poolsides around the F1 circuits.
