what a race. I was at Abbey corner so I saw quite a lot of the action; Kubica and Sutil's huge skids into the gravel trap, Piquet spinning and not getting back into the race, Webber spinning but managing to get back on track, and a couple of overtakes. Awesome. Well done Hamilton, Heidfeld (I told you he wasn't a lame duck!) and Barrichello. Lewis just blew the field away today...reminiscent of Ayrton Senna in the wet if you ask me... Didn't get to see Heidfeld's double overtake unfortunately, the screen was so far away that I had to use binoculars, and all I saw was him driving away from two cars. Nakajima's amazing ability to pick up points remains there for all to see. And how tight is it getting at the top of the WDC now; it couldn't be closer than last year, but as long as it goes down to the wire I'll be satisfied. Well done Lewis; just what the doctor ordered. Shame about both Squarehead and Button, I wanted the former especially to do well, but it just wasn't to be.

What an unusual race. Some drivers looked like amateurs, and others owned the field. Nick was incredible, his passes and his drive was great. Nice race at a good time for him.

Lewis' start was amazing... for a moment i thought he was actually lighter than Heikki and he let him by cause he knew so. That's how dominant Lewis was! He would have been challenged by Kimi, but Ferrari were scared ducks. And the cars behaved like they were on dry tyres... Barrichello was also very impressive, very intelligently driven.

All in all... a race

Lewis' start was amazing... for a moment i thought he was actually lighter than Heikki and he let him by cause he knew so. That's how dominant Lewis was! You're German? Ok, and I was writing to you in Spanish thinking you were Spanish or Hispanic. Oops, but at least I now know why I got no reply. (I refer to the Euro 08 thread). Anyway back to the race, I guess another lucky race for Lewis as it rained like it did in Monaco and he won again. Oh well, luckly it isn't likely that it will rain in every other race then. Reminds me of 1993 when Prost had the faster car than Senna but Senna was always better in the rain. But the man with the better car won the title in the end. (Prost). Hopefully the same happens this year when the men in the better car, Kimi or Massa win in the end.

Prost also had a fair bit of luck/team orders to stop Damon Hill challenging him for the Championship.
