Should the qualifying be changed again?

Postby Irv the Swerve »

i think this qualifying system is the best in years but even though they made the last sector to 15 min from 20, should this be changed again?

well the fuel burning phase is the worst thing about the qualifying system, they should maybe have a single lap for pole, so you cant make a mistake

I agree the fuel burning is stupid. So why not change the parc fermé rules?

It's a bit silly because the fastest qualifying lap won't guarantee you pole. But at least it gets all the cars out there and is fairly exciting to watch. Right now, I can't see any point in changing the system again

The current system is quite exciting, sometimes almost more so than some of the races. I wouldn't want to miss that entertainment anymore, so only if future changes keep the level of excitement where it's at, I'd support them.

I would like the 12 laps qualifying to come back. I remember the excitement of that at a wet Hockenheim a few years ago.
