suzuka 1990

Overnight there had been a political battle going on over pole position. McLaren wanted it to be changed so that Senna would be on a clean piece of track but the request was blocked. Senna saw it as collusion between Prost and the officials and it helped to decide him on a frightening course of action at the start. If his position proved to be a disadvantage Senna was not going to back off in the first corner. Prost made the better start (as expected) and as they went into the first corner he was half a car length ahead. Senna went for the gap and did not lift off. The two cars collided and spun into the sand trap. Senna was the World Champion.

MS is a genius when it comes to racing, when every one else is thinking about an advantage by stretching the rules or exploring a loop hole MS is doing it, sometimes he gets penalised sometimes he's applauded. Maybe Alonso is the next racing genius.
Apart from MS's driving skills I feel he may have had some luck on occasions but you make a lot of your own luck, add this to a team with the comitment, resources and tactical knowhow and you have multiple world champions. Good luck to any one who can challenge them.

RASCASSE GATE springs to mind......
Look thru SchMACKER's history; I agree he has a formidable talent, but he resorts to cheating at any opportunity to secure championships.
Look back to Hakkinen/S Macau F3, he was cheating then!!! Hakkinen won the first race by a 4 second margin. In the second race Hakkinen got onto the straight quicker and was jinking out to pass SchMACKER when S steered into Hakkinen and broke his front wing. FAIR??
If it is fair then i can beat S in a Ford Focus...you cannot pass a vehicle that is prepared to swerve and force you off the track.

everybody is entitled to their own opinion but hand on heart i genuinly believe that Michael did nothing wrong in Monaco, just because he didnt crash it into the wall he is once again the bad guy

When ex-world champions, most of the motoring world and the FIA (after 8 hours of trying to find S in the right), deem that he cheated, HE CHEATED. HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

If you watch the replay Prost squeezed Senna, so that he put his right wheel on the grass before they touched....when that happens you have less brakng ability....
