Personally, I think we've become so focused on "individual rights" that we've lost sight of the importance of following laws, rules, regulations, and expectations of ourselves as part of a "society".

I'm NOT saying that any injustice against any individual or group of individuals is acceptable; but, choosing to be disrespectful of the country in which we live is not acceptable.

Looks like Red Bull is doing well in the development of their car, Ferrari seems to have dialed back the boost after their recent reliability problems and Mercedes is cruising along at the front benefiting from their special FIA approved, high oil burning spec engine.

I have read that burning the engine oil allows Merc to rev all the way to 15000 rpm while the others peak out at 12500.

Vettel to use new chassis for remainder of Austin event

Ferrari have elected to change Sebastian Vettel’s chassis after the German experienced problems in Friday’s second practice session in Austin.

Having been late to go out on track in FP2 as Ferrari made changes to his car following first practice, Vettel then had a huge slide off the road at Turn 19 and spent some time in the pits before re-emerging.

The four-time world champion was third fastest after completing his run on the ultrasoft rubber, but he soon returned to the pits complaining that something ‘felt weird with the front axle’ and ultimately clocked just 11 laps.

Let's do the math.... 2500 rpm = two more unearned titles!! :banghead:

Good thing we're not hearing any more about how Schumi and Ferrari ""cheated""!!!!!!!!! :flamethrower:

I would say that the title race ended at Singapore, Ferrari has been rattled since then and only gone backward.

The only question at COTA is will Vettel extend his misery or will he finish 6th or lower to give Hamilton his fourth title?

Well, that was another terrible decision by the FIA, Max's demotion from the podium was another example of inconsistent stewardship. Bottas went well off the track twice defending his position against Red Bull drivers ironically and came back on track in front, both times he clearly gained an advantage.

I guess showing favouritism by allowing them to have an engine that doesn't meet regulations isn't enough??..
