How was the race in Bahrain?

China was rated 6.6

Australia was rated 5.0

Gave it a 9, had nearly everything - overtaking, bumping, controversy (Lance and Carlos) and likely conspiracy (LH fanboyz/girlz will complain about unfair treatment getting the 5 sec penalty).

8. Exciting - a dramatic finish or an upset

Best race of the season so far, despite the qualifying disparity, Ferrari seems to be a reasonable match for Mercedes, without the 5-second Hamilton penalty, it could have been a different story.

The 5 second penalty fortunately wasn't the deciding factor - LH still had a 6.6 seconds gap. And even if he had not had to sit an extra 5 seconds in the pits during his last stop, he still would have come out behind VB (since the gap was 9 seconds).

Yes, but when the chasing driver is just 1.6 seconds behind and not 6.6 seconds, a lunge down the inside is more likely!

But when the gap comes down to about 5 seconds, SV would have controlled the gap by putting out some faster laps like he started doing at the end of the race. So, I don't think it would have come to a 1.6 seconds gap.

Went with 8, as I truly hope there are more exciting races to be looking forward to!!

If we're going to discuss the penalty, we should also discuss the elephant in the room:
namely, the team orders from Mercedes. Let's face it, if the shoe had been on the other
foot, Hamilton would not have likely given up the spot any more this time than last time
against Rosberg.
