It's going to be fun watching it happen and reading the pathetic excuses from his fans.

:banghead:

I get the feeling I've been here before, you do realise this type of fanboyism is actually more of a negative with regards to Lewis Hamilton?
#184383
Pathetic like "he didn't know any better" and "it was the team's fault" and "he was pressured in to it"?

Oh yes, I went there.

:hehe: You're bad

...But I lol'd. So I'm just as bad

It's okay. Neither of us lied :)

And everyone knows you get to do so 3 times before you have to tell the truth in a press conference.

It's my opinion, what is it with some people round here, must i agree with everyone instead of having my own opinion. I guess i am part of a big club then because there are millions of F1 fans who think the same, even commentators think he can't do it. I would be the first to admit i was wrong if he did beat Lewis but everything points the other way.

Testing last week was a telling sign and hearing him moaning on Top Gear last December kind of sums it up.

My main concern is for the team, i was a McLaren fan long before i was a LH fan.

Ill keep on promoting him as i see fit.

As for me being a fanboy, well i guess ill change my forum name to LewisH, now that would really make me a fanboy, right. :banghead:

Anyway, i am off to the gym.

I wish that Hamilton outclasses EVERY single driver this year.. I want a complete BLOW OUT!

Oh. Also, I want Rosberg to edge out Schumacher and for Virgin F1 and USF1 to score some points.

I am the same but i want McLaren to blitz all competition with Lewis leading the way. He has been very reserved and quite,as if to say "ill do my talking on the track".

I also want Button to play his part and do what he was bought in to do,not lose sight of the team.

He was brought in to win.

He was bought in to be a team member, winning is a whole other subject, make no mistake JB will get his bottom handed to him.

It's going to be fun watching it happen and reading the pathetic excuses from his fans.

No, he was brought in to win. McLaren want to win, they have stated their goal was to get the two best drivers available. He was brought in to win. People like you have invented this feud within the team where Jenson's job is to lose to Lewis. It's baloney. McLaren want them to compliment eachother, and Jenson wants to match and at least occasionally beat Lewis.

Your just repeating what i am saying, of course he wants to win and McLaren want to win, beating lewis is a whole other topic. I am not talking some races i am talking being ahead of Lewis at the end of the season,it's not going to happen.

We can go round and round but the clock is ticking and we shall see if Button really is as good as you think he is. :yikes:

No, you just don't seem to realise it doesn't matter which one does better. You also seem to know very little about Jenson Button because you seem to think he will turn on the team if Lewis is beating him. That's not Button. Not even close. You seem to like talking trash about Jenson Button fans and you inexplicably believe Lewis has somehow been "keeping quiet" in comparison to Jenson. Two things to consider. Jenson's fans don't feel the need to declare the battle over in advance and take pleasure in the idea of one side beating the other (I, for example, really don't see it as a battle, I see it as a challenge - and so does Jenson). Second, Jenson is the world champion - it's sort of his job to go around making public appearances, speaking to the press and so on. The World Champion is supposed to go around promoting the sport.

First off - I questioned the logic behind your opinion (which you keep stating as fact), ie why are you saying it? I diddn't say you can't have that opinion, and I apologise if you interpreted that that was what I was implying.

Second off, you say you'll keep promoting him, what I'm saying is I don't think you really are promoting him - I don't feel trying to discredit button is support for Lewis.
I think your reference to changing your name to LewisH is linked with jensonb? Unless your saying having the name of the driver in question is the only way to make you a fanboy of the said driver then I don't think thats either here or there.

By all means continue to promote Lewis (from your frame of reference, not mine) and sometimes I seem to get this urge to question your promotion of Lewis, or discuss it with you.

Well you know what. I think Lewis and jens will compliment each other. Between them they have a good skill set and are wise enough to use it to advantage and not against each other. I think Lewis will come out on top, but if he doesnt I still think they'll get on cos I reckon they both know the score and are sportsmen who want to win on merit. They are a good pairing for McLaren.Could be like the Mika and David pairing.

I hope your right, they both have such different driving styles, its really difficult to say who will be faster. I would not be surprised to see Jensen ahead on longer more flowing tracks like Spa, Sepang and Turkey, with Lewis ahead on more technical tracks like Singapore and Monaco. I honestly don't think qualifying times will be all that much different, but based on what I have seen, I think Lewis is more aggressive overtaking and will fair better in the races, but we will see.

I don't know, Jenson has some pretty great passes to his name

Lets get one thing straight...

The cars qualify on fumes this year.. Jenson is not that great on light fuel, much less qualifying in tense situations.
Additionally, once you start behind Hamilton in the same car.. you sure aint gonna overtake him! You know why? NO REFUELLING!! So no off track overtakes.. :wavey: To make matters worse these long wheelbase, mega diffuser cars are gonna be HELL to overtake on track.. lol

Good luck to Jenson because qualifying will be key to defeating Hamilton.

Do I even have to respond to this? It's so full of factual errors I don't see the point.

My only wish for this season is for Alonso to win the drivers title and Ferrari wins the constructors.

:yikes: My second wish is for felipe to beat Alonso

No you don't, as a matter of fact you really don't have to read it if you don't want to,know one is forcing you.

I really can't wait to see what excuses you come up with when your man really gets his bottom handed to him, know doubt you will be moaning like JensonB(i mean the real JB not you, lol) about Lewis getting special treatment.

Jenson Button is a mediocre driver who happened to get lucky last year,he showed his real driving skills once the other cars caught up in the second half of the season.

As long as he is better than Heikki Kovalainen i will be happy,we need the constructors.

And know you don't have to respond to this. :wavey:

I am off to work.
