I really wish i could watch the BBC's coverage of the Grand Prix. I'm in the US and I'm just not satisfied with Speed's coverage. Escpecially on weekends like this and the last few where the race is shown on FOX and the coverage is even more limited then usual. So if i could watch the BBC's coverage that would be awesome. Actually I wouldn't even mind watching RTL's coverage because I speak German as well.

Depends how sneaky you're feeling, there are usually streams on sits like Justin.tv and ustream.com. Both of which are extremely popular!

I've tried those before but i get frustrated because most of them are just a still image. I guess people do that just to generate views. I've never been able to find a reliable stream with decent quality.

I have never been impressed with Justin.tv; no doubt it'd work if there wasn't millions trying to get free access to the BBC feed overseas. The only solution I have seen is a UK based proxy and the iPlayer, you can search out a free unprotected UK proxy but it won't work, been there, done that. Paid UK proxies is the only viable solution!

BBC releases 'global' iPlayer app for European iPads, €7 per month
The wonders of iPlayer are no longer the reserve of the Brits. As of today, iPad users in 11 other countries across Europe can subscribe to the service for €7 per month or €50 per year. That equates to $10 -- just about living up to the Beeb's promised maximum price. The subscription grants access to a wealth of TV classics, like Fawlty Towers and Only Fools & Horses, as well as unwitting comedies like EastEnders. Some sort of motoring series by the name of Top Gear is also available, for those who like cars and middle-aged men in pointy shoes. The app will allow for downloading as well as streaming, and marks a "pilot phase" for the service, which should hopefully reach the former colonial outpost of America before too long. Full details in the PR after the break.
