Hello from the desert

Hi All,

New to the site, but a long-time racing fan. I grew up going to races at Watkins Glen in upstate New York and Limerock in Conneticut and as a kid my favorite car was the Lowenbrau Porsche 962. I've been watching much more F1 again lately and really enjoy seeing the remarkable technology put into an F1 car. I find myself cheering for Hamilton and the McLaren team and I'm hoping to make it to an F1 race next season (Montreal perhaps?) to watch in person. Looking forward to talking cars and racing.

I agree as some of my favorite racing memories are from watching Al Holbert in the 962. Welcome.
