Shedden on pole for tomorrow's race, Giovinardi putting in a good showing too to get on the front row.

Look who's up there though... the driver we all love to hate. :P

Lots of tyre failures in that first race, but that's Thruxton for you, a tyre killer. Good result for Jackson though.

Surprise surprise Matt Neal up to his usual tricks in the final race..

Great 1-2 for the Airwaves BMW's though, and a very close final race with Plato defending like crazy. Giovinnardi has still got it too.

It was at that final chicane, he looked for a gap and drove into the side of Collard putting him into the barrier whilst Matt himself busted his front suspension putting him out of the race.

Collard was none too pleased about it and was having a nice whinge about it. :P

Ah right. Good. :hehe: Not a big Collard fan either.

That Team Dynamics car looks pretty quick though, i don't even think Thruxton is a track especially suited to it...

As per usual, Matt Neal demonstrating that he is completely incapable of making a clean pass on the top BTCC drivers  I completely concur with Collard - they are expensive cars and although you expect a bit of a battering, Matt Neal is just a complete amateur twat. I know Collard isn't the cleanest of drivers but I can't see how Neal can pin the blame on him for the accident

Nash replaces Giovanardi at Triple 8

By Jamie O'Leary Saturday, April 17th 2010, 08:53 GMT (From Autosport.com)

James Nash will replace current points leader Fabrizio Giovanardi at Triple 8 Engineering for the rest of the British Touring Car Championship season.

Nash, 24, made a number of appearances in an RML Chevrolet last season and scored a best finish of third at Silverstone.

"Missing the first race of the season obviously means I'll be playing catch-up, but I'm looking forward to racing at the front end and making a fight for the championship," he said.

Giovanardi, who currently leads the championship following a double win at the season-opening round at Thruxton, is understood to be chasing a drive in other championships. His last minute deal with Triple 8 for Thruxton was always billed as potentially a one-off outing.

The announcement means that next weekend's Rockingham races will be the first since 1992 not to feature a foreign driver.
