Has anyone else seen this?

There are plans to hold "Formula 1 type races in the skies". Looks pretty cool. The "cars" will be rocket propelled aircraft which will fly a 3D course with top speeds of about 360kph. The rockets themselves will either have an on or an off switch...so the pilots will be either accelerating or gliding. The inventor, Mr Diamandis, is hoping to have the league up and running by 2007.

Sounds fantastic to me, but what's the betting that it'll only be available to watch on Sky

What a fantastic idea, actually this has given me a thought - wonder what F1 cars would look like without design restrictions etc and for that matter how fast they'd go - much like these me thinks.
