They have a range of engines in F3 (Merc, VW, Honda, the list goes on), and while there are some different chassis the vast majority use the Dallara. Of course the team itself still has a huge effect, as the better teams generally have more setup experience and so on and are therefore able to generally get more out of the car.

Good racing in that clip!

Great video James, that was some excellent footage! Stars of the future in the making, back when Fernando Alonso was on his way to his first title in the Renault.

Oh, and welcome back to the forum BTW! :wavey: You've not posted in a while!

Given Jabber's specs above, Lewis appeared to have the newer iteration of the Dallara chassis. Tyres and setup may well have had a bigger influence, can only speculate from the outside.

Here's hoping they find themselves in equal machinery soon.

Spec racing is often all about the teams engineers extracting the most perormance from the car. Which is why there is always some teams at the front while others at the back with the same gear.

I believe they are using the same Chassis. IIRC the 3 means that it is the F3 chassis, the 05 means that it is the 2005 version of the chassis. the / then number is the number of that chassis in the run. So it they where the 11th and the 21st made.
