Toyota s Engine Chief, Luca Marmorini, has said he believes that the FIA s existing environmental plans do not go far enough.
Many people have praised the Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems (KERS) plan, which will be introduced into F1 next season. However, speaking to the Italian car magazine AutoSprint, Marmorini said that he believed the plans to not be as technically challenging as some have previously stated, and are certainly not as advanced as those in other racing series – therefore of limited use in assisting the road car industry.
