Ron Dennis will be absent from the Malaysian Grand Prix this weekend however he has warned everyone not to jump to any conclusions about his absence.
Recently, there have been rumours that the troubled McLaren boss was planning to retire particularly in light of the news that he had split with his wife Lisa, however last week, Dennis confirmed that he was intending to remain as boss of McLaren for the 2008 season and had no plans to retire.
“I won t be in Malaysia,†Dennis confirmed. “I am telling you now. I have to be in England for something that I would rather not be in England for but that is life. So it is nothing to do with F1. So when you don t see me in Malaysia, don t jump to conclusions. I will be at all the other races.â€
