Schumacher’s dominance continues

On the second day of testing at Barcelona, Michael Schumacher continued to dominate, finishing top of the timesheets again. The retired German driver put in a fastest lap of 1:21.486, four tenths of a second ahead of McLaren s Pedro de la Rosa.

Massa took over from Luca Badoer and looks to be coping well without the traction control the Brazilian driver finished in fourth spot, six tenths behind his team-mate. Hekki Kovalainen showed his mettle as he finished in third spot, whilst Briton Gary Paffett rounded out the top 5 in the second McLaren.

There was some drama on the second day of testing both Toyotas came off track Montagny brought out the red flags as he spun at Turn 13, hitting the wall and damaging the back of his car.
