Moss breaks ankles in fall
F1 legend Stirling Moss has broken both ankles and some bones in his feet after falling into a lift when the doors opened prematurely.
The accident happened at Moss’ home and he was swiftly admitted to the London hospital, where it was also discovered that he had damaged his back.
He was then moved to the Princess Grace hospital and put in intensive care, although it has been stressed that his life is not in danger.
His wife later visited him and reported him to be in good spirits.
