Hamilton in trouble down under
Lewis Hamilton has had his car impounded for spinning the wheels of the Mercedes C63.
Hamilton is in Australia for the upcoming race this weekend. Hamilton is believed to have been caught doing a burnout and fishtail in his Mercedes as he left the Albert Park circuit. The F1 champ is reported to have been charged with the improper use of a motor vehicle.
A Victoria Police statement reads, “A man who resides in Switzerland was arrested after leaving the Grand Prix circuit at Albert Park at 9:15pm local Melbourne time today.
“Officers noticed there was a deliberate loss of traction of the wheels of the motor car ie the wheels were spinning.
“Legal process will take place in due course and there is a monetary charge by summons.
“The man was returned to his hotel and the car has been impounded for 48 hours.
“He does not have to appear in court and alcohol was not a factor in the incident.”
Hamilton has issued a statement saying, “I was driving in an over-exuberant manner and, as a result, was stopped by the police. What I did was silly, and I want to apologise for it.”

Lewis, you should only be apologizing if someone could have been hurt (other then you of course). But if this was a case of burning rubber with nobody around the vehicle, then why are you apologizing to those fascists? Improper use of a motor vehicle? I wonder how dumb the idiots feel now that they know it was a driver who can do laps around them that they arrested. Some cops just love their power, are on a permanent power trip. Until they actually run into a real criminal, then they cower. But the regular public, yeah, they really show them, under their boot.
