Cheers all for the timings.

I thing Mclaren times are acceptable. If you think all the other teams are on revision 2 of the engine. Yes they maybe over the 15 seconds from last year but how much have all the other engines advanced.

I am suprised that all the other teams are so close to each other on day 1

It'll be interesting to see how the McLaren-Honda develops over the course of testing. Hard to gauge anything regarding relative form at the moment, as indicated by Sauber's 2nd place, straight off the back of a pointless 2014 campaign. :scratchchin:

Yup.

TBH, on top of the end of season tests last year, it might be a bit worrying, then again there's plenty of time before the 1st race to get a better picture for reliability.

--

Mercedes do look strong again, tbh it didn't seem likely otherwise. I hope Honda can challenge them, it'd be great to have an inter-team and inter-engine battle.

And I wish (once again), we could watch Pre-season testing live on TV.

Yeah, they can't be shown, something to do with the licensing I think. Though I'm not sure why it wouldn't be an advantage/ good thing for fans to watch the testing.

I don't know why not. Many people want F1 back on their screens ASAP and the new season nears with testing

It would be awesome to have it on TV but yeah the FIA won't sell the rights to testing for some reason...

I just noticed the top 2 cars are Ferrari powered. Is this Ferrari going balls out early whilst everyone else is turning up the wick slowly! Or have they found some magic.

I hope its the latter but a part of me tells me whereas others will be long fuel based, the Ferrari powered cars will do short runs. Vettel kept hoping in and out the garage
