Oh, look!! Ferrari has permeated the Hamilton support thread!
Will wonders never cease?

0.16 and 0.47 - who are the Tifosi permeating more???

Yeah that engine failed comprehensively. A bit of a disappointment for the REAL Tifosi who actually watch races and understand real racing. Not a single one of those REAL Tifosi was on Wiki to find out what was going on in that clip. Its good to hear real passion from a crowd especially when Hamilton drove past, it wasnt so loud when Alonso drove past though just before his engine failed, maybe they just enjoy good racing.

I can't see the video in question but I think real F1 supporters will always appreciate a good racer. At Monza Lewis was loudly cheered by the Tifosi, and at Hokenheim his drive through the field was well appreciated by the crowd there despite the fact it was 'one' of Rosberg's home GP's and had a very large support base for Vettel.

Alonso isn't my favourite driver but I appreciate what he does, enjoy watching him and like it when he's at the sharp end.

yeah, its a criminal disgrace Alonso has not been given a car even remotely capable of a podium with Merc and RBR around. It would be good to see El Ponso providing some real opposition for Lewis. The only consolation is that when people look back the history books will confirm that as teammates Lewis came out on top, and that was when he was a rookie. Its still a shame though that Alonso is reduced to scrapping for top ten places. Maybe he should get his gonads out and move to a team with big potential like McLaren, Lewis did it by moving to Merc. And when they are ready to make good Lewis could return to Mclaren to partner Alonso the year they are able to really challenge again

A rematch! Sweet. Do you think McLaren could handle that?
#417848
I'd much rather see Alonso and Hamilton back at McLaren than see them over at Ferrari. Senna didn't want to drive for Ferrari either.
#417849
And I've never heard Lewis express a desire to do so. He's enjoying Merc , the change, obviously the car, greater freedom but I think a bit of his heart remains at Mclaren.

I am not sure Ferrari as it is now is a natural home for the purest racers like Lewis and Ayrton. Maybe for drivers who enjoy the history and nostalgia, or records and stats, maybe Seb will end up there as the next hero. But for the guys who like to win on track, I can see how the politics and infighting and backstabbing and unrealistic demands and myths could be off putting. for the purest racers it wouldnt make much sense. Imagine Senna offering to drive for free at Williams and Alonso willing to stay if he gets 50 mill, and then consider Lewis moving to a team with 1 win for the same money as staying at the true F1 grandee in the sense of 'garagista' specialist, a team that were in place to dominate the year after he left.

I see Seb at Ferrari, Kimi probably wouldnt drive for free, I suspect Ricc and Bottas and Koba would. Apart from these and Lewis, it is a fact that EVERY driver wants to drive for Ferrari (and get paid Kimi well).

El Ponso is not ok. Thank you for pointing that out F2004 . And neither is El Liaro  Name calling of drivers is not permitted so you have a choice. Lewis, Hamilton, Lewis Hamilton , Mr Hamilton, Alonso, Fernando, Fernando Alonso Signor Alonso.
