I am pretty sure Grand Theft Auto 5 will be announced at E3 this year.
But I too am pretty GD excited for Saints Row The Third (And also Saints Row: Drive-By, but then I'm a 3DS fanboy).

As I've illustrated on various message boards no fewer than a hundred different times, if the next GTA is on this generation of platforms it won't actually be titled "Grand Theft Auto V" (five). That's not how Rockstar numbers them. If one looks, we've had well over four GTA games so far, not even counting add-ons. They only increase the number tacked on at the end of the title when that game is starting off a new generation. GTA III was the first of several GTA games for the previous generation, but they never counted up to IV until GTA IV started off this current generation. It's a fair bet that the GTA V title will be reserved for the first GTA game for next-gen platforms.
It could be that in depth, or maybe its because they don't know what the hell they want to do. Any one play san andreas? I really wanted to get into it, but i just couldn't. I don't know why
ahh the girl friend aspect you have gotten farther than me apparently I didn't know that started there. I love getting in cahoots with michelle in gta 4 only to run her off a speed jump and walk away
I just started playing the gta 4 multiplayer and i have to say that is just awesome. I love rounding up a group of my own team to befriend them in a big bus and drop it off a super jump as well and then bail
I enjoy both Saints Row and Grant Theft Auto in their own ways. While it's sort of unfortunate that Rockstar has been steering the GTA series in a somewhat more realistic direction, consequently losing some of the ridiculous fun of older games, I still enjoy them very much and appreciate the attention to smaller details that bring the game world of GTA IV to life. While perhaps more fun to play, Saints Row 2 lacked the polish of GTA IV and didn't have the level of detail or production values of GTA IV. SR2 also suffered from a mountain of bugs and glitches, including completely freezing my 360 no fewer than twenty times. (I still kept playing it, though.) So, again, I appreciate each in their own ways.I am pretty sure Grand Theft Auto 5 will be announced at E3 this year.
