The British GP weekend is next. Will Rosberg continue his momentum and make it four victories out of the last five or will Hamilton manage to rise to the occasion and win on home turf?

Or can someone else claim a surprise win from the jaws of this tedious Mercedes domination??

Perhaps hope for the future. An end of the Mercedes dominated lift and coast 'fuel economy' style of F1.

More fuel, wider tires, less driver aids, tokens to be squashed?, and finally after so many years a return to wider cars.

I'm a bit worried about the last point re. qualifying and race format changes...

It'll probably go all America's Next Top Model and there will be a fan vote midway through the race...

Should be an interesting weekend - suspect showers may play a part and with Rosberg on form anything could happen. :hehe:

Raikkonen is just too far off the pace to make this a race with Mercedes. Red Bull seems to have improved.

Hamilton is getting a bit of favoritism from Mercedes as they are going to give him an upgraded clutch set of his own to use at Silverstone while Rosberg remains on the old 2014 clutches. Hamilton says he had better starts on these clutches in the first four races of the season so he is hoping that they give him an advantage over Rosberg this weekend in front of the home crowd.

I heard it differently. NR reverted back to 2014 clutches, which he prefers. LH went back to early 2015 clutches, which work better for him.

Claiming favouritism makes it sound like rosberg doesn't have any such option to choose his preferred clutch but I don't see that.

Well it seems that it was Rosberg testing in Austria (Hamilton opted out) that found the problem with Hamilton's clutch.

Maybe irony is the better term!

"Hamilton insisted, however, that it is wrong to suggest Rosberg got a better race start in Austria because he is more involved in Mercedes' development programme. Actually, Hamilton said the team discovered a "serious issue" with the new clutch system when Rosberg was doing the test."

Very well done Lewis. Great drive from a great champion.
3 Silverstone wins and counting.

I thought Hulkenburg was very good today. Force India are improving race by race imo.

Overall I enjoyed the race, but felt a bit sorry for Williams, as in the dry that car was absolutely brilliant today. :)
What a start..... :D

Three weeks until Hungary..........usually another great race.
Time now for........ :drink:

Even with Ferrari and Williams having moments of brilliance, the outcome is pretty well pre-determined,
thanks to the rules, this year.

Ah, well, it's not like there's much going on around here at 8:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning! :spin:

That was a bit more interesting than previous races, shame Williams couldn't keep up the challenge at the end. Thought mercs attempt at the dummy in the pits was a bit silly.

Why is donnington pictured in the OP?
