That's what makes him one of the,if not the most interesting drivers to watch.A great overtaker that he is for sure your not going to get it right 100% of the time.
As for him going down the order i think most of it was a case of he was three stopping ,others only two stopping hadn't pitted.
Does anybody know how just before the first round of pitstops Hamilton managed to slip down to sixth in the first place? Just been watching the rerun and all of a sudden he was behind Massa with no explanation. Apart from what must have been an error somewhere, a flawless measured race from Lewis. Although it has to be said some of his overtakes have in previous races spelled the end when drivers have turned in on him as he has been making the move.
