That is the best scene from all the spaghettis, SL saved the best for last there

One thing I never understood, did Shayenne really spend the whole scene dying from a gunshot wound because he was too proud to tell the woman and too engrossed in finding out the answer to the big question like Frank?

Anyone know?

Liam, thats no way to talk about the new Tifosi hero :nono:

Talking about Tifosi heroes, Horner says something very interesting about those 2 studs that will be driving the team to greater heights in the second (and more stable) year of the new regs

Horner said the banning of exhaust-influenced rear aerodynamics, a technology in which Red Bull had excelled in the previous four seasons, had a big effect on Vettel.
"The rule changes were significant and the two guys who seem to have been affected most are Seb and Kimi and I think taking away the rear downforce has actually been a big factor for Sebastian," Horner said

Its possible someone there then (amd maybe not anymore) thought the V8s with exhaust blown diffuser and Newey were going to be at Ferrari for 2015 - there is no other explanation I can think of

That was a good call by Ferrari for JEV, maybe they read my post ranting about how dumb it was too take Seb for 50mill on the back of 4WDCs when they could have the (at the very least) as good and probably much better than Seb (but no WDC so much cheaper) JEV

Ron is obviously pandering to the same mercantilism that screwed his team in the first place, putting the shallow PR benefits of a WDC driver head of young hungry talent

I suspect Ron has caved in to become a ""normal"" team boss, unlike the old uncompromising upstart genius, who would take on anyone and anywhere

2015 will be very interesting to see if McHonda/HoeLaren can honestly engage Williams for the best of the rest finishing position above Red Bull and other Merc customers (lets hope Mallya and Lopez find some rich dumb investors)

I almost feel sorry for Seb when Horner puts it this way. Hope he finds the car he's looking for at Ferrari, because apparently Red Bull couldn't give it to him.

SKYF1 “Seb didn’t enjoy the regulation changes,” Red Bull chief Horner was quoted as saying by the Guardian. “He didn’t enjoy the new engine, the feel from the new system, the power unit, the brake by wire, the lack of downforce.

“You could tell he wasn’t happy. He was preoccupied and to compound that his team-mate won three races. There was that feeling ‘am I enjoying this as much as I thought I was?’

“It was like someone had taken his toy away. It took him a while to get to grips with that. It was not something he was used to. He went through a period of disillusionment about the direction Formula 1 was going in. There was a stage last year when he thought whether he wanted to stop or not, whether he was getting the same level of enjoyment or not and whether or not he wanted to continue.”

AWW poor dude. Didn't have the best car for once so why not quit...and join my old pal Webber in Porsche Cup, relive old moments again.

Considering he waited until the beginning of the new season's testing,
it's highly possible Horner is playing mind games with Vettel and Ferrari.

Of course, there are those who believe everything Horner says and I'm
sure they're at the ready to defend him. Maybe he's to be given the
benefit of the doubt, since the Media is notorious for taking comments
out of context, just because they know the sensational will sell...

Strange thing is that Horner already said the same even when seb was still at RBR last year - that he was not comfortable with the reduced rear DF on the 2014 cars, as did Helmet Marko.

However just a quick trawl thru this thread will confirm a few members including myself saying pretty much the same exact thing, i remember getting reported by mnm for claiming Seb was matched by webber when he had his TOYS taken away at the start of 2012.

Heres a quote from over a year ago that says pretty much the same as Horner is now

The main thing about the Red Bull situation, unlike the other 2 sec cars like Brawn is the teams treatment of Webber. Seb is claimed great because it appears that Webber cannot match him in any way in the same car thereby making Seb look exceptional

But this is where the distortions start. The cars are not equal, Webber is not treated equally, and when given the chances has matched Seb. And for me everytime Sebs car dos not have exceptional rear downforce and traction, he looks average,, excessive oversteer, poor race craft, mistakes, crashing into others trying to overtake.

Ask yourselves this, if Red Bull had had Webber come a close second in every race Seb has won, like in Japan 2013, or even beat Seb 40% of the time (like in 2012) would Seb look that good?
In 2010 Seb won 5 times and Webber won 4 times, yet Seb won 3-1 in second half of year after the evidence of Seb favoured (wing-gate)
In 2010 Red Bull won 9 times and 4 of those were 1,2s
Contrast that to the stats of say 2013, its not rocket science. Did Webber suddenly get really bad, yet suddenly matches Seb like in 2010 everytime Sebs car has his trick missing

Senna, Fangio, MS were never beaten by team mates like Di Resta, and always looked good no matter the car they were driving

The facts tell us MS won WDCs in different cars, Alonso has proven himself in different cars, Lewis has led a mid grid team to the front.

Seb has had cars built around him by Newey, has been matched by average teammates, and most alarmingly always looks average when the car doesn't have a particular system.

Yes titles are won by drivers in good cars, yet if we look at the years the WDC and WCC were not won by the same team, we see that Lewis has not won in the best car, Alonso has not won in the best car. Seb has always won in the best car (biggest WCC margins) despite the handicapping of his teammate.

Seb is good, but great drivers do not need to stick a finger up to remind the audience that their car is number 1. Does anyone here truthfully believe Nick Heidfeld would not have won the WDC in at least 2011 and 2013 with that car?
