Sochi was a boring circuit visually and not necessarily challenging for drivers other than for the multi-apex turn 3, these circuits are doing more damage to the sport than any other factor. There is little in the way of variety and the only reason for the continued push in that direction is to look for venues willing to pay more and more money for events.
Supply and demand, the more circuits the more they're going to have to fight for and shell out for the limited product.
