Always a favourite. Plenty of stories about the "old" circuit, but who can forget Coulthard and McLaren colliding in 1999, the start crash which took out Schumi and a load of other cars in 2000, the controversial end to the 2002 race which changed F1 rules for the next decade, Sato and Heidfeld's crash in which a lot of people thought Sato was really badly hurt...

Lewis Hamilton's engine went on the blink after Baku.. He's now down to his last 1. He thinks it will mean 2 future races starting from back

Ferrari found pieces of metal in Vettels gearbox oil. Too risky to use in the race -> 5 place grid penalty.

So, another race that was overshadowed by controversies, the big one is Hamilton and Rosberg coming together for the second time in a little over a month. Which of course raised the issue of no car information being allowed to be transmitted over radio, which was brought up by Toto Wolff. Finally we have Sebastian Vettel intimating that Pirelli were to blame for his blowout.

On a happy note for me, JB managed his best finish of the year claiming sixth place after starting from third, not too shabby for the Honda powered car. :)

How do you work out that Mercedes tried to screw Lewis? the soft tire was clearly the tire to be on at the end of the race, not the super soft that Nico was on.

Apart from the two poor pit stops? Plus the fact they took so long to decide to pit him for his first stop.

In fact a lot of Hamilton's pit stops have been rather slow all season.

I think that's tin foil hat conspiracy talk, slow stops happen, why on Earth would a team sabotage their star driver on a salary twice that of his team mate?

If Mercedes wanted to sabotage Hamilton; they could have done much worse that have a slow stop or two.

Oh, I guess you didn't get the memo? Hamilton's wins are so much more dramatic
and more deserved because it's him against the whole world... even his own team...
