I like to think that he didn't pass Alonso because he was showing what an effective team mate he would be for Alonso next year. I'm now 52% sure that Hamilton will be leaving McLaren next year.

That's weird logic. I think much more staright fwd matters actually happened. Such as, mclaren telling Lewis he had no need to go after them and risk crashing, getting a penalty for messing w the front runners, wasting his tires and allow those he was racing to catch, running out of fuel etc.

So yea, many other things come to mind before all the things you mention ;)

Yeah... and anyway we're talking about Lewis, not Massa. :hehe:

Hehe
... In which case, it would have been totally understandable (to pass vettel and not alonso).

more poop from Vettel

"If you look at the rules, it's clear you are allowed to do it [unlap yourself]. I said it was unnecessary." -depends how u look at it Seb...sometimes the glass is half empty.

"I was hunting Fernando, it was a couple of laps to the stop, it didn't help me, it probably helped Jenson, but that's racing." -wait....teamates shouldn't help each other? Are u nuts? :banghead:

"I'm not complaining. I said it was unnecessary from a racing point of view to distract the leaders no matter who it was, and that's it." - Not complaining. You're not complaining???English motherfucka! Do you speak it!?? :director:

Back markers should not be getting in the way of the leaders. Having a back markers sit on your nose for a short while is technically getting in the way.

Button, Whitmarsh, McLaren, Lauda, Anderson, Pirelli, Brundle, Stewart, Michael.....anyone else?

Depends on the state of the tyres.

The way the tyres are this and last season, sometimes the backmarkers do go faster than the leaders... when the tyres 'go off the cliff', a fast car/driver can lose 20 seconds a lap!

If Vettel didn't like having Lewis infront of him, why didn't he just overtake him again as you would do with every other backmarker.....?

Oh that's right, because he couldn't, as Lewis was much faster.

I hope Vettel brings this up at the drivers briefing.

There would be no point risking a smash or wrecking his tyres.

Eitherway, backmarkers should not be getting in the way of the leaders.

He didnt get in the way, he overtook. You cant count the first corner after the overtake. Just get used to it - Vettel isn't the God he once was now he doesnt have his magic blown diffuser. Maybe you should find a new winner to support? Alonso maybe?

He sat on Vettels noseall down the straight from the hair pin to the next corner.

Find a new winner? That's laughable, especially coming from someone who supprts one of the most successful teams in F1! I've been supporting Vettel since before he was a winner and I supported Red Bull before they were even Red Bull! Nice try though.
