Sad part for me is I'd be overseas in a relatives house, instead of my own private quarters where I could've enjoyed it in peace. :(

Even with tyre ware Monaco is a nightmare to pass anything. If your good enough nothing can pass you ,even on old rubber.I suppose there is the pit stop lottery, although it's more of a hazzard than a lottery being a McLaren fan :hehe:
I hope your right, but i try not to get to excited about Monaco these days, then if it is a good race all well and good.

The way the tires go off a cliff with people risking that one more lap on them, I wouldn't be surprised to see accidents in the tunnel or just after it. Sometimes it makes an innocent bystander suffer and that mixes the order up. So does traffic in general at Monaco.

The same has been said of Barcelona, and look what just happened there. The fact is every single GP this year has been thrilling. Add in the safety car nonsense like last year, and I don't see any reason why we shouldn't see an exciting Monaco GP, even if it is artificially so.

I wouldn't bet on Formula 1 this year but I should've bet on andrew making this post. Would've been terrible odds though.

What? Lotus winning? Everyone wants to see that for the good of the sport.

Lewis was just because I like him. Nothing wrong with that. :)

Who knows what will happen, a Lotus victory would be cool, another different driver and team combo. Even with KERS, DRS and degrading tyres, it's still incredibly hard to overtake in Monaco!

I see a second place for a Stewart, and a Ligier win!

I think it'll be lewis, he loves this track and is usually uber quick.....unless his quali gets screwed up. Last year his quali got screwed up. I cant remember if it was the 'not sending him out in time for a flying lap' or 'not fuelling him for the flying lap'. :scratchchin: We've had the fuel one very recently so maybe that one will be ok. Two races in a row would be......but then wheel things have happened in 3 races in a row, so one never knows. So barring screw-ups Lewis to win, with Kimi thereabouts. Nando and Vettel 3rd and 4th(either way round)

I suppose, they are running out of drivers who have not won this year

Not really, there's still 19 left, shame there aren't 24 races, one win for each driver

If it is going to another driver to make it six different drivers I think It's going to either be Kimi or Narain :hehe:

I predict a podium of Vettel, Hamilton and Button, not sure of the order yet.
FAVOURITE CONSTRUCTERS 1. Sauber 2. Ferrari 3. Lotus
FAVOURITE DRIVERS 1. Kimi Raikkonen 2. Fernando Alonso 3. Sergio Perez/Paul di Resta 5. Jenson Button/Kamui Kobayashi

I predict Lotus. This series looks more and more rigged by the minute. Does not matter about the cars any more. just the tyres. What next to win, HRT?????

Last year Q2 was impacted by Perez' accident, the leaders that went out and put a time before that made it into Q3, Lewis was stuck out and I believe rain or something made the track much slower.

No he made a big mistake in Sector 2 as he was impeded by cars on their slowing down lap a bit earlier. McLaren as usual, put the unnecessary pressure on him and he made the mistake. And to be honest, in a lottery of a season, Monaco is THE lottery track of the season...I don't really have so much confidence in a Lewis victory, since I have more confidence in another McLaren f**kup right now.
Lewis:
"In Turkey 2010, I led the race and was told to back off to save fuel and JB had also been told to back off and hold position. Then he overtook me, just as Sebastian did to Mark. That was tough. So I understand the feelings Mark had."
