I'd personally want Hamilton to partner with Vettel's engineer. Smedley is more like a babysitter than an engineer and don't think it will suit Lewis. I like the sound of Vettel's engineer, always egging him on and sounds like his best friend in a race (what a race engineer should be).

Hamilton's engineer sounds like some library nerd just learning the ropes of how to be a damn race engineer.

Yes, but for the sake of clarity, Smedly would have to come over to McLaren, not Lewis going to Ferrari. Cuz if Lewis went to Ferrari, I would have to go with him and I really don't want to go to the dark side.
