In fact this is very bad news for Ferrari as they have it (confirmed in the Pitpass article). Yet another FiA decision that has gone against SF, hopefully our luck with rulings will change soon.

Whether it's bad news or not would depend on how well they got it working, as Horner has said 'it's about how they work and how they are integrated in the car'.
To have your car designed around having this system from the start and then to have it banned is very bad news, if you've tried to fit it into a car that's been designdod without it then it's not so bad, particularly if the design of your car doesn't allow it to be used to full effect.

anything that goes against them now doesn't nearly make up for everything that went their way in the past decade not to mention the special treatment they get from FOM with prize money.
